In order to meet the growing need for public transit on its territory in an effective and durable manner, the Réseau de transport de Longueuil (RTL) wanted to develop a new operations center. The RTL called on COSIME’s expertise for advice on implementing this large project and on meeting eligibility requirements for the Government Assistance Program for the Public Transport of People (GAPPTP).
COSIME acted as owner’s advisor in project planning, risk identification and design phase definition to ensure the project would meet both funding and LEED requirements.
COSIME’s work allowed the RTL to focus on key project issues, identify the various processes (delivery process, approval, procurement) to implement for the execution of the projet, prepare work packages, define preliminary design activities, develop a work schedule and provide a preliminary cost estimate.
